ROBERT C. SORGINI

Born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida, Robert C. Sorgini earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Florida in 1978 and was graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida, College of Law in 1980. He is a member of the Florida Bar and licensed to practice law throughout Florida.

His legal practice includes all aspects of real estate transactions and closings, real property litigation, estate planning and administration, and probate litigation. Robert was included in the 2001 edition of “The Best Lawyers in America Consumer Guide,” and is “AV Rated” by Martindale Hubbell. He is a member of The Florida Bar‘s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law section.

Robert has lectured at Palm Beach County Bar Association legal seminars; is a former adjunct professor of Business Law at Palm Beach Community College; is a former member of the City of Lake Worth Downtown Development Authority; served as a Special Master for the Palm Beach County Value Adjustment Board for 16 years; is a past President of the Lake Worth Bar Association; and is an alumnus of Leadership Palm Beach County, Class of 1998. Since 1989, he has been a member of the Board of Directors and Secretary of Lake Worth Towers, Inc., a non-profit housing facility.

RICHARD C. SORGINI (1921-2014)

In 1951, Richard C. Sorgini obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami, where he was a member of the honors fraternity, Delta Theta Phi. He was a member of The Florida Bar from 1951 until his death in 2014.

Richard served his country in WWII as a Captain in the United State Air Force, and during the Korean War, was recalled and sent to the Air Command and Staff school, after which he was assigned to the Staff Judge Advocate.

A former Municipal Judge, Richard was a past President of the Palm Beach County Municipal Judges Association, a past President of the Lake Worth Bar Association, a past Chairman of the City of Lake Worth Downtown Development Authority, and past President and Life Member of the Lake Worth Kiwanis Club. He has served on the board of Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, the Salvation Army Advisory Board, and the Board of Trustees of the JFK Medical Center Foundation. He co-founded the Lake Worth Playhouse in 1955, which is the oldest existing Playhouse in Palm Beach County. He was the recipient of the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the City of Lake Worth in 2003, and a “Good Citizenship Citation” Award from the American Legion in 2008.
