About Us

We trace our roots to 1951 when Richard C. Sorgini was graduated from the University of Miami Law School and admitted to The Florida Bar. After practicing for short periods in Miami and West Palm Beach, Richard opened his law office in Lake Worth Beach in 1953. His practice concentrated on civil law with emphasis on will preparation, probate estate administration, guardianships and real estate closings.

Prior to 1972, the Florida court system included Municipal Courts. Richard served as Municipal Judge in the Cities of Lake Worth Beach, Lantana, Ocean Ridge and Manalapan. In 1968-1969, he was President of the Palm Beach County Municipal Judges’ Association.

From 1954 to 1981, Richard established a successful law practice. In 1981, Robert C. Sorgini joined the firm. Our number of clients and case load continued to grow each year.

Today our firm focuses its practice on estate planning, probate and trust administration, probate and trust litigation, real estate closings, title insurance and real estate litigation. We have administered thousands of decedent’s estates and closed thousands of real estate transactions throughout Florida. Our law firm is an agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. In Palm Beach County, we have a reputation for integrity, efficiency and accountability. We have earned the respect of other lawyers, former judges, real estate brokers, bankers, trust officers and past clients who refer new clients to our firm.

The firm’s attorney and three paralegals have many years of experience and continue to attend seminars to update their knowledge on new laws and procedures. We welcome new clients and the opportunity to serve them. Our goal is to provide quality legal services with personal consideration and compassion to each individual client.
